Breakfast. It's cereal with dried fruit again for Richard. Breakfast sandwich of scrambled eggs and beans, salmon and cheese. I play it safe with fruit, a glazed donut. Then I try some of the special Spanish ham, cheese, a tiny bit of scrambled egg, and toast. I find I much prefer the fruit and the donut. Breakfast has not wowed me here at this hotel.
Beach. We've decided the spend our last full day here at the beach, It's 9:00 AM and there's only a handful of people. Most of the loungers are empty. Some people are walking on the beach. We settle in, pay our €12 for the 2 of us for our loungers with umbrella. Soon Jean and Paul join us. By noon it's crowded. Spent some time in the water. The day is hot and sunny. The water is warm. Seems a bit calmer in the water today. By 5:30 PM we have had enough beach. Say our goodbyes to Jean and Paul. They are here a few more days but tomorrow we go to Ronda. It's been lovely talking to them, getting to know them. Richard had a good time as he actually swam in the water today-spent more time in the water.

Dinner-
The Carvery. This time we're here for the carvery special. Got a table right away. Our server tell us she will tell us when to go to the buffet line to get our food. Drinks-beer for Richard and a nice glass of rose wine for me. Soon we are told to get our food. There is just so much to choose. You start first with the meats. There is pork, beef, ham, turkey, and lamb. Vegetables include peas, carrots, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, plain cauliflower, cabbage. Stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes. Yummy gravy. You can return for food again if you want. My first plate was beef, pork, turkey, cauliflower cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas, carrots, broccoli, Yorkshire pudding. My second plate was more turkey, lamb, cabbage, broccoli, carrots. I was able to manage a second plate because I took small portions of everything. Richard had 2 plates also. He tried all the meats and lots of the vegetables. We can't eat any more and have no room for dessert. Cost without tip $40.84. And that's for a lot of food! The service was very good and the food was amazing. The meats were so tender. I'd come here again for sure. A great way to end our stay in Torremolinos. Tomorrow we head to Ronda-white hill town supposed to be in a spectacular setting.
